Bully threatened to post explicit pics of girlfriend online

A man who threatened to post explicit photographs of his girlfriend online has been jailed.

Dylan Mairs-Lee, 22, from the Orford area of Warrington, sent his partner a series of abusive text messages between July 2019 and February 2020.

Some of the messages threatened to post explicit pictures of her online.

Mairs-Lee also attacked a member of his girlfriend's family in January this year.

Mairs-Lee , of Quebec Road, pleaded guilty to engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour, assault, resisting arrest and breaching a suspended sentence.

He was jailed for 32 weeks during a hearing on Friday at Warrington Magistrates.

He had previously received a two-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, for an assault conviction in July 2019.

The court also imposed a restraining order on Mairs-Lee, preventing him from contacting his two victims or approaching their home address for the next two years.
