Bullseye fans fume over reboot's 'woeful' darts players in comparison to the original

Bullseye fans were treated to a reboot this evening as the show hit telly screens for the first time in nearly 15 years.

Returning as part of Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow, members of the public tried their luck at the darts/quizzing game in the hopes of winning big.

The show features pairs of contestants, one competing in quizzes and the other in a darts tournament to snap up all sorts of prizes.

But some hardcore fans were left wanting as they reckoned some of the dart throwers weren't up to the task.

They took to Twitter to scold the hopefuls over their darts skills.

"Some woeful arrows on tonight's #alancarrsepicgameshow #Bullseye," one tweeted.

"Some shocking dart throws tonight #bullseye #alancarrsepicshow," another raged.

"These players are absolutely useless!" a third reckoned.

Others just drank in the nostalgia.

One gushed: "Bullseye. Nostalgia alert! Sunday nights watching at my auntie and uncle's house. After the A Team! #alancarrsepicgameshow #Bullseye."

Another referred to former host Jim Bowen's old catchphrase, writing: "You can't beat a bit of bully #Bullseye #inone."

The show features different classics from the old gameshow roster - alongside Bullseye is The Price Is Right, Play You Cards Right, Strike It Lucky and Take You Pick!

Bullseye fans were left worried last week as another game of Play Your Cards Right aired - making them question where their beloved darts show was.

*Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow airs on ITV from 7:30pm - 8:30pm on Fridays.
