CHICAGO _ After Tuesday's news that four Nets players, including Kevin Durant, tested positive for the coronavirus, the Bulls have been in contact with medical authorities, an infectious disease specialist at Rush University Medical Center and the NBA.
The Bulls played the Nets in Brooklyn on March 8, just three days before the NBA suspended the season after Jazz center Rudy Gobert became the first player to test positive for COVID-19.
No members of the Bulls have shown symptoms of the virus, either players, coaches or staff members on the trip, but the entire traveling party has been recommended to remain under a two-week quarantine through Sunday.
After playing the Nets, the Bulls played one more game March 10 against the Cavaliers at the United Center before concern over the spread of the virus brought the season and sports world to an unceremonious halt last week.
Players were allowed to leave the Chicago area after the suspension of the season, which initially was expected to last at least 30 days but almost certainly will go on longer. It's unknown how many Bulls players remained in the area.
