Bulls launch road trip with big win over Blazers

PORTLAND, Ore._Dwyane Wade has a simple philosophy for extended trips: Go at least .500.

"If you go 4-2, you're good. You go 5-1, ooh," Wade said following Tuesday's morning shootaround at Moda Center. "I always go with that mindset, 'Hey, you go on a six-game trip and you go 3-3, it's a solid trip for you.' You go anything over that, it's love."

The Chicago Bulls at least started the six-game trip in fine fashion, leading by as many as 25 points in a 113-88 dismantling of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Jimmy Butler continued his strong stretch with 27 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. And Jerian Grant started for an injured Rajon Rondo and scored 18 points and a career-high five steals as all five starters hit double figures.
