Before his team's 11th win in 12 games, Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer joked that Derrick Rose has looked so good that the Bulls should rest him on Monday. Instead, Rose playing may have helped the Hawks. Rose finished 6-for-21 with eight assists and six turnovers as the Bulls fell to 11-4 on the road with their 93-86 defeat. The Bulls, who posted a season low for points, trailed for the game's final 44 minutes. Jeff Teague sealed the victory by sinking two free throws with 10.8 seconds left after Jimmy Butler had forced a jump ball by deflecting an ill-advised pass from Kyle Korver. Butler actually won the tip, but Paul Millsap secured possession and passed to Teague, who was fouled. Al Horford's 21 points led four Hawks in double figures. Butler's 22 points and Taj Gibson's 15 points and 17 rebounds led the Bulls, whose Kirk Hinrich went scoreless for a second straight game. Hinrich didn't attempt a shot Sunday in Miami.
Turning point
Trailing 85-81 and with momentum following Butler's 3-pointer and a defensive stop, Rose committed his sixth turnover when he lost the ball in the lane trying to drive and eventually got called for a kick.
