Bulls focused on task at hand

April 29--Tom Thibodeau was asked to describe the Bulls' mood after Wednesday's practice.

"Workmanlike," he said.

Fans are in an uproar over the Bulls failing to close out their first-round series against the Bucks by losing Monday's home game. That panic hasn't translated to the Bulls, who remained focused on the task at hand in advance of Thursday's Game 6 in Milwaukee.

"We're all in good moods, good spirits," Jimmy Butler said.

The Bulls will be at full strength for Game 6. Thibodeau wants the Bulls to play with more pace and get to more loose balls. If they win, the Cavaliers are waiting in the second round.

"It's the playoffs," Thibodeau said. "They're hard-fought games. It's going to come down to a hustle play here or there. That's what this is all about now. You gotta make plays."

Looking ahead: If the Bulls dispatch the Bucks either Thursday or Saturday, they will open the Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Cavaliers at 6 p.m. CT Monday in Cleveland. Game 2 in Cleveland is set for the same time Wednesday.

Games 3 and 4 would be played Friday, May 8 (time TBA) and Sunday, May 10 (at 2:30 p.m. on ABC-7) at the United Center. If necessary, Game 5 would be May 12 in Cleveland, Game 6 would be May 14 in Chicago and Game 7 would be May 17 in Cleveland.
