DALLAS _ Friday night marked one of the Bulls' most impressive victories of the season over the Cavaliers.
Saturday night didn't produce a repeat.
Missing their first six shots and trailing start to finish, the Bulls meekly succumbed to the 4-15 Mavericks 107-82 at American Airlines Center.
Wes Matthews scored 26 points and Harrison Barnes added 22 as the Mavericks rolled, shooting 41.9 percent from 3-point range.
With Dwyane Wade resting in Chicago as the Bulls continued their lone four-games-in-five-nights stretch, Nikola Mirotic started and failed to score.
Rajon Rondo also struggled in his return to Dallas, committing five turnovers with two points and two assists.
Jimmy Butler's 26 points led the Bulls in his 13th straight game with 20 or more points.
Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg supported Mirotic, who came up with two big defensive plays in Friday's victory over the Cavaliers despite struggling offensively.
"He's continuing to take good shots within the offense," Hoiberg said. "We're all confident it's just a matter of time before he starts making shots regularly."
