The Bulls and Dwyane Wade have agreed upon a buyout, sources familiar with the talks said Sunday night.
Wade picked up his $23.8 million player option on June 20, two days before the Bulls began a full rebuild with the trade of Jimmy Butler.
Wade, who turns 36 this season, has said he'd rather play for a championship contender at this stage of his career.
The Bulls begin training camp on Monday.
