CHICAGO _ An insane season of injuries for the Bulls continued with Thursday's news that Bobby Portis will miss two to four weeks with a sprained right ankle.
He suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Nets.
Portis has played just five games between missing close to seven weeks with a sprained MCL in his right knee and this ankle sprain. Portis' injury comes on top of Zach LaVine also being sidelined two to four weeks with a sprained right ankle.
Kris Dunn and Lauri Markkanen have both missed significant time with injuries. And Denzel Valentine is out for the season following left ankle reconstructive surgery.
With Portis sidelined, Jabari Parker could move back into the rotation, although the Bulls are trying to move him. Chandler Hutchison is another option at backup power forward.
