A sweet bulldog is left looking like she always needs a hug thanks to the expression created by her large 'eyebrows' and down-turned mouth.
The aptly-named Madame Eyebrows is an English bulldog who was born with thick brown patches just above each eye resulting in a unique look that's enough to melt your heart.
Even dressing her in a party hat, as a flower, or with a headband complete with springy cocktails does nothing to lift her downcast demenour.
But the good news is the look is not a reflection of her true mood, with her owner saying her appearance hides the happy pup behind the mask.
Madame’s owner Janina told Unilad the bulldog is actually a 'very funny and very happy dog'.
Her pup has racked up more than 138,000 followers on Instagram in just six months where she's dressed in a few bright outfits in a bid to bring some more joy to the snaps.
There's also a few appearances from a her best friend, a labrador named Luna, and despite looking thoroughly unimpressed with the company, we're assured she'd be lost without her canine pal.
Her adorable look has won her a loyal following of fans who can't get enough of her hangdog appearance.

Another dog who has caused a stir online is Nori the Aussiepoo, whose human-like face has people convinced his photos must have been edited.
His owners have gotten used to being stopped by strangers who are intrigued by his unique appearance when they head out and about with Nori.
