Bull on the loose in Coleraine as police warn public

Police are warning the public to be vigilant after reports of a bull on the loose.

The animal was last spotted in the Greenhall Highway area and pathway close to the Montra Club in Coleraine.

Officers are urging people to avoid the areas and do not approach the bull if they spot it.

A PSNI North Coast spokesperson said: "Police in Coleraine are dealing with an incident, a distressed ‘BULLOCK', on the public footway between Greenhall Highway and Coleraine West Community Centre. Please avoid the area."
