Bukayo Saka teases Arsenal fans with social media clip amid transfer speculation

Bukayo Saka left Arsenal fans scratching their heads when he posted a cryptic social media video amid speculation Borussia Dortmund are plotting a move for the left-back.

Saka has impressed for the Gunners this season, having made 30 appearances in all competitions despite being just 18.

The England under-19 international has scored three goals and provided eight assists, and his performances have inevitably caught the attention of other clubs.

As well as Dortmund, Bayern Munich are also believed to be interested in Saka, who will soon enter the final year of his £3,000-a-year contract.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has put his faith in Saka after the youngster was given his debut by previous boss Unai Emery in the Europa League, and the Gunners are hoping to tie the teenager down to a new contract.

But Saka has fuelled speculation over his future after taking to Twitter to post highlights of his performances from the season.

The post was simply captioned with two emojis - an egg timer and a football - with fans unsure how to interpret the video.

Some have seen it as suggesting he is edging closer to penning a new deal at the Emirates Stadium, while it could also be viewed as hinting that a move is imminent.

According to Football London, talks between Saka and Arsenal have stalled in recent weeks because of the coronavirus crisis - but the Gunners remain hopeful they can convince the teenager to stay at the Emirates Stadium.

That won't put Dortmund off as they look to plunder some of the best young talent from English football, with the Bundesliga giants also considered favourites to land Birmingham starlet Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham has had a superb breakthrough season in the Championship, and is also being courted by Manchester United.
