Bukayo Saka teased by Man Utd's Anthony Elanga and Arsenal team-mate over 'disaster'

Bukayo Saka has been teased by Manchester United youngster Anthony Elanga and Arsenal team-mate Nuno Tavares over his abilities on the Call of Duty video game.

Utility man Saka has become one of Mikel Arteta’s most important players for the Gunners and one of the brightest prospects for the England national team.

He has featured in all 10 of Arsenal’s Premier League games this season, scoring two goals and notching one assist in the top-flight so far this campaign.

The 20-year-old has also started seven successive league games as Arteta’s side have gone unbeaten, playing a key role in the wins over Tottenham and Leicester in particular.

His performances this season have seen him called up to the England squad for the Three Lions’ final World Cup qualifiers next week.

But before linking up with Gareth Southgate’s men, Saka took part in a launch event for the new Call Of Duty Vanguard video game.

The Arsenal star highlighted his participation in the event across social media, posting a series of pictures showing him playing the game.

On Instagram, Saka uploaded the photos alongside the caption “Good vibes at the Call of duty launch yesterday” with the Xbox controller emoji.

But it appears that his skills on Call Of Duty are not well-regarded by his footballing peers, with several of them teasing the young Englishman.

Red Devils youngster Elanga replied to Saka’s post with the comment: “Ahhhh Your gun deffo jams”.

Saka’s team-mate at Arsenal also poked fun at the 20-year-old, commenting simply “Disaster” with the crying face emoji.

Another Arsenal player also derided Saka’s Call Of Duty ability, with youngster Tyreece John-Jules asking him “Are u even good”.

The attacker appeared to find the funny side though, replying to Elanga with two laughing emojis before telling Tavares and John-Jules to “Play me”.

Saka will likely start against Watford on Saturday in Arsenal’s final Premier League game before the international break.

And boss Arteta is expecting the newly-promoted Hornets to put up a stern test, despite recently changing managers.

“What I'm demanding is that we keep improving and keep putting in good performances that are going to lead to good results,” Arteta said.

“And that we maintain the same unity and togetherness around the squad and that we are able to transmit that in games like in every day in training. If we do that we’ll keep doing that.

“They have a new manager and are a team that needs wins as we do. In this league any team can cause you problems, can beat you and you have to be aware of that.

“That they had an incredible run last year to return to the Premier League and what they did. Now they changed their manager.

“But it’s a team that has been for many years in the league. They’re our neighbours, they’re just next to us, and like any team they’ll be tough to beat.”
