Bukayo Saka sends a message to the Arsenal fans after scoring his first Premier League goal

Arsenal favourite Bukayo Saka has highlighted the growing spirit amongst the squad shown in the victory over Wolves, which capped off a memorable week for the teenager.

The 18-year-old penned a new long-term contract with the Gunners earlier this week and followed that up with his first Premier League goal to open the scoring against Wolves.

That victory away from home has extended Arsenal's winning streak to four matches across all competitions, providing a significant boost at the start of a testing run of fixtures.

For Saka, his goal was the icing on the cake for a perfect week and he also explained how the team showed resilience during the match to keep Wolves at bay.

“It’s been a week that I’ll remember for my whole life. It’s not just me, it’s Arsenal fans, you can see we’re building and that the manager is building. We’re just delighted with the results we’re getting and that I can tie down my future here," he told Sky Sports.

“I’m 18, it’s been a dream to play for this club. I came up from the academy this season so I have to take it game by game, take each opportunity that the boss gives me. I’m so grateful to be here, it’s my dream. Anywhere the boss puts me, I want to be.”

The win against Wolves gives Arsenal a huge boost in the hunt for European qualification, particularly at the start of a difficult run of fixtures, and Saka highlighted the unity shown by the squad.

“It’s a very big result. We know how good Wolves are, we knew how tough it was going to be. We fought for every ball, we fought in every duel, we’re so delighted to get the win, it’s our fourth win in a row, we just want to keep it going.

“It was such a shift in the second half but I feel that this is where we’re improving, we fought in every duel, we fought together and that’s why I feel like we got it over the line. The subs that came on, they helped us so much and gave us a boost. It feels like we’re more together."
