Bukayo Saka's true value to Arsenal has been revealed.
The 19-year-old winger has been key for the Gunners this season, scoring six and assisting seven across all competitions, the third most goal involvements across Mikel Arteta's squad, behind only Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Arsenal haven't exactly enjoyed the best of seasons, currently in ninth position, six points off the top six and nine points off the top four.
But there have been some silver linings, of which Bukayo Saka is certainly one, the winger kicking on after properly breaking into the first team last season, particularly impressing after the restart.
Saka's continued form into this season was somewhat predictable, but what wasn't so predictable was just how important he would become to Arteta and Arsenal.
Despite being just 19, the youngster is one of Arsenal's biggest threats, and nothing proves that quite like the recent release of his transfer value.
The CIES Football Observatory, who carefully calculate players' values, say that Saka's value is now estimated to be between £100million and £130million.
And astonishingly, that makes up for more than 20% of the value of the whole Arsenal squad, which is currently valued at £537million, with the Gunners behind Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham when it comes to overall value of squads in the Premier League.
That Saka value will be music to the ears for Arsenal fans who might fear losing their wonderkid before he reaches his true potential in a Gunners shirt.
They will also take comfort in the fact Saka is tied down to a contract until 2024, having signed a new deal last summer after he had broken into first-team plans.
