Bukayo Saka's Instagram message to Jack Grealish as Arsenal are tipped to seal £100m transfer

Rising Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has sent a message to Gunners transfer target Jack Grealish after scoring for the club against Newcastle.

The 19-year-old has been one of the Gunners' best performers this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists in all competitions in 23 appearances.

The teenager got on the scoresheet against the Magpies in their 3-0 win at the Emirates on Monday night.

Saka tucked away Emile Smith Rowe's pinpoint ball to make it 2-0 either side of goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

And after the game, Saka made an Instagram story that tagged Chelsea's Ben Chilwell and Aston Villa captain Grealish, who is being sought after by Arsenal, where he made an 'A' sign.

They are reportedly among a host of Premier League players that are part of a Whatsapp group called 'The Avengers'.

The group also includes Leicester City's James Maddison, Spurs' Dele Alli, Villa's John McGinn, and Ross Barkley.

Maddison said earlier this season: "We have a little group chat called The Avengers," Maddison admitted, to former Hull midfielder David Meyler.

"[It has] Jack Grealish, Ross Barkley, Dele Alli, and John McGinn are the footballers [in the WhatsApp group]."

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been told to sign Grealish, who is enjoying a brilliant individual campaign this season. He has starred for both club and country and has five goals and seven assists already.

And Piers Morgan and Harry Redknapp believe that Arsenal should chase Grealish, even if it costs £100 million.

"I think they have to spend," Redknapp said to Morgan while speaking on the Harry Redknapp Show. "They are way off it, at the moment. They need to bring a bit of quality.

"Arsenal is a massive football club – take a Grealish. He needs to play at the bigger club."

Former Arsenal star Gilberto Silva also said the club should sign the 25-year-old.

Speaking to The Invisible Wall Podcast, Silva said in November: "Grealish, amazing. It seems like he could be a player that Arsenal missed.

"With his ability, he was one of the guys in the middle who can play beautiful football.

"He controls the ball, assists, and can score goals. He is slightly different from Dennis Bergkamp, but he could be somebody for the future at Arsenal."

Grealish is contracted at Villa until June 2025 so only a huge offer is likely to lure him away from the club.
