Bukayo Saka models new kit as images of Arsenal stars in adidas home shirt 'leaked' online

Despite Arsenal finding themselves exactly just one month away from kicking-off their 2021/22 Premier League campaign against Brentford, the club are yet to officially unveil their new home kit for the new season.

Usually, by now, every club would have unveiled all of their new strips for the forthcoming campaign, but, despite releasing their away kit two months ago, Arsenal are yet to officially confirm their new home strip.

But with the start of the new season now beginning to move ever closer, leaks have started to emerge of what the new home shirt could, indeed, look like.

That is because well-respected football website, Footy Headlines, appear to have released images from an official photoshoot of the 2021/22 home shirt being modelled by some of Arsenal's most senior and coveted stars.

Whilst several leaks have done the rounds in recent months, this latest leak appears to be a lot more formal and accurate, with the photos uploaded appearing to be genuine.

Of the images released, the leaked home shirt has been modelled by Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

As for the shirt itself, the design for the 2021/22 campaign is different to what have seen most recently, but it does have flashes of what Arsenal have produced in years gone by. The shirt, as expected in typical Arsenal tradition, is mainly red, with white sleeves and white side panels.

The end of the sleeves have a red and navy trim to give it a nice, crisp finish.

The shirt also features three navy stripes on the shoulders and navy collar, which on the inside has the slogan 'Arsenal for Everyone.' The Arsenal for Everyone initiative was launched in 2008 to promote diversity.

The shirt also, as expected, features the 'Emirates Fly Better' sponsorship logo, Arsenal crest and adidas logo.

The shorts of the new home kit are white with red-navy-red stripes down the sides of the leg. The socks are red and white hoops with a dash of navy at the top of them.

With the 'leak' most certainly proving reliable and trustworthy, it may not be long before Arsenal officially unveil the kit, which should be worn by a number of new signings in the forthcoming campaign.

Nuno Tavares is the club's only new addition so far, but others are expected to follow him to the Emirates Stadium, with Anderlecht's Albert Sambi Lokonga expected to be their next summer signing.
