Bukayo Saka has already explained why Arsenal fans shouldn't worry amid Liverpool transfer links

Bukayo Saka has been linked with a surprise exit from the Emirates.

It has been suggested over recent days that both the reigning Premier League champions Manchester City and Liverpool are interested in Saka, with ESPN reporting that the pair could be tempted to make a move should Arsenal fail in their pursuit of a Champions League position come the end of the current campaign.

Meanwhile, with the 20-year-old’s current contract expiring in 2024 there has been speculation that he could be sold sooner rather than later as the Gunners attempt to generate a fee for the youngster as opposed to losing him for nothing.

It remains to be seen whether City or Liverpool make a play for Saka’s services in the summer but if the Englishman's previous words are anything to go by, Gunners fans have nothing to worry about.

Speaking in June of last year, Saka told Arsenal.com: "For me to get here I would say I just worked hard and it's always been my dream to be one of the main players in Arsenal Football Club and to try and help this club be back where it belongs which is at the top.

"The opportunity to play the game, to play the thing that you love and play in a stadium where you're supported by sometimes there's 80,000 fans in the stadium cheering you on and celebrating with you.

"This is the best part.

"We just love Arsenal. We love to play. You can see the passion and the happiness that we play with."

Supporters will be hoping Saka's love for the club continues long into the future as Arsenal's no.7 is a key part of Mikel Arteta's plans.
