Bukayo Saka ended speculation about his Arsenal future after signing a new long-term contract extension this week.
The teenager has emerged as one of the Gunners' most important players this season after making 33 appearances in all competitions.
Filling in at left-back earlier in the campaign, the Arsenal academy graduate impressed with his displays in the Premier League and in Europe, and there were fears that he would leave the club if a new deal wasn't signed.
But Saka finally committed his future to the Gunners and put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract on Wednesday.
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta was delighted to secure the 18-year-old's services for the foreseeable future.
“Bukayo is a talented and intelligent young player," the Spaniard said. "He has impressed me with his work ethic and attitude to learn and adapt, and it has paid off in his performances.
"I am excited to continue working with him to develop him further, and for him to help us achieve our goals.”
Saka's breakout season has been even more impressive considering that the academy graduate has matched a club record that has stood for 13-years.
His assist in the 3-2 win against Everton in February saw him become the first Arsenal teenager since Cesc Fabregas to reach double figures for assists in a single season.
The winger has since moved onto 11 in all competitions, providing the assist for Nicolas Pepe's goal against Brighton last month.
After his new contract was confirmed, Saka tweeted: "London is my home. Arsenal my team. I’m so happy to finally announce my contract extension.
"I love playing for this club and I’m looking forward to what the future holds.
"The hard work continues so I can continue living my dream. God is Great!"
