Bukayo Saka FIFA 22 rating confirmed - Arsenal youngster receives another huge upgrade

After another great individual season for Arsenal and a great EURO 2020 campaign with England, Bukayo Saka's top performances over the last season have even reflected in his FIFA 22 ratings, with Saka receiving a +5 upgrade to his card, making him 80-rated overall.

Saka's 80-rated FIFA 22 card was revealed to the public when EA Sports announced the highest-rated Under-21 XI, where Saka is joined by five fellow Premier League players, including England internationals Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden and Chelsea's Reece James.

Saka's overall rating is based on his performances from over the last 12 months, where the 20-year-old earned himself a call-up to the England EURO 2020 squad and had some influential displays in the starting XI.

Saka scored seven goals and grabbed six assists in the Premier League and Europa League for Arsenal last season - however, due to his versatility, Saka was not always playing as an advanced winger.

So, how does Saka compare to his FIFA 21 card? And what are his stats like in FIFA 22? Let's take a look.

Saka's +5 upgrade on his card takes him into the 80-rated bracket for the first time in his career after a great season at the Gunners.

Saka was one of, if not the standout player at Arsenal in what was a disappointing campaign for the Gunners last season, and with his influential performances and versatility, he could count himself unlucky not to be even higher than he is.

So a good card overall, but how does it compare to his FIFA 21 rating?

Saka saw a huge upgrade in his defending, dribbling, shooting and passing in particular, whilst his physical stat increased by one and his pace stayed the same.

With Saka being deployed at full-back on multiple occasions throughout the season, his defending saw a +10 increase to 65 overall. His dribbling and passing were both increased by five ratings due to his great creative ability, and his shooting increased from a low 61 to 68 after his seven goals last season.

This is how Saka slotted into the FIFA 22 highest-rated Under-21 XI.
