Congrats are in order for the Cleveland Browns and the production unit behind the online series “Building the Browns”. The behind-the-scenes series captured an Emmy award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Building the Browns won the award for Most Outstanding Sports Program-Series from the Lower Great Lakes chapter of the NATAS organization, which covers several markets in the midwest including Cleveland, Indianapolis, Toledo and Youngstown.
It’s not a national award, one that gets celebrated by a bloated and insufferably self-important broadcast. But it’s still cool to see the Browns and their in-house production staff recognized for the Building the Browns series.
The current Building the Browns season will have a new episode this week.
