Lorna McCafferty, who is the hospice’s trusts, legacy and individual manager, said: “We’d like to thank the Nationwide team for continuing to fundraise for us during the pandemic; we’re extremely grateful to the Airdrie branch for all their continued support.”
The latest bumper donation means workers and customers at the Graham Street branch have now raised more than £22,000 for the hospice since 2012.
Branch manager Carol Fleming said: “I’d like to thank all of our customers and the Nationwide Airdrie team for their amazing support in again raising funds for our chosen charity.
“St Andrew’s Hospice supports so many people in Lanarkshire – we’re proud to support them and will continue to do so.”
