Construction firms are in the news today - The Guardian has a report about the OFT investigating bid-rigging in the field. Overall the economic news is positive, with The Times expecting a rise in share prices when the Stock Market opens this morning.
Costs are always a concern to business, and the Telegraph says post's likely to go up. Also a concern is getting dismissed as a manager if that's your job - and now there's a computer program that will dismiss you all by itself, the same paper says. Perhaps managers in this position should have read The Times' report on customer service. And they certainly ought to be paying attention to the reports of a moving retirement age - the Mail had more on this yesterday.
