Build-A-Bear is a popular gift for the children and part of the fun comes with watching them come to life.
Although they are not the cheapest of toys, one bargain hunter has shared a way parents can save money.
Taking to Facebook's popular group Extreme Couponing and Bargain's UK, one mum shared that Build-A-Bear offers a bear for the price of the child's birthday.

In a scheme called Count Your Candles, on Build-A-Bear's website it reads: "Bring the birthday boy or girl in to count their candles any day during their birthday month, and the age they are turning is how much it costs to make their own Birthday Treat Bear! Regularly £14, Count Your Candles, pay your age – our birthday treat to you!"
While the deal is only available in store, you need to become a member online.
Two bears are available and according to the website, you do not need to bring any ID for the little one.
They say: When the birthday child comes into the Workshop, just let us know you’re celebrating a birthday and together we will “count their candles” to let us know how old they are turning. No need to bring in any proof of age or identification."
Jade commented on the post: "We got this for my littlest for his second birthday, he got to fill the teddy himself and got a cute little heart to make a wish and put inside before it was sown up . He loves his one."
A former worker added: "I used to work in build a bear, you have to have the child with you to get the bear for the price of her age no other proof needed just the child."
"I did this. I had the song and a T-shirt for the bear and I paid £8 instead of something like £22. My daughter was one, so it was only £1 for the bear."
