Build-A-Bear confirms return of 'Pay Your Age' offer which caused 'chaos' at Cribbs Causeway

Build-A-Bear has confirmed the return of its 'Pay your age' event which previously caused "chaos" at Cribbs Causeway.

The toy giant launched the event last year, which means you pay only the age of the child whose bear it will be.

The event will only be available in store and shoppers who provide a valid email address when signing up to the scheme will be entitled to purchase a toy at a much lower cost, according to the Liverpool Echo

One provision is that the toys will only be given to boys or girls during their birthday month, for the discounted price.

Designer brand Michael Kors has closed its Cabot Circus store

Last year, the promotion proved too popular, with hundreds of parents being turned away in Bristol.

One parent told Bristol Live at the time: "It's chaos down there. My wife is there now and it's just madness. They were at capacity before the store had even opened and people had been queueing for hours.

"The crazy thing is, a lot of the children there are of school age, so it makes you wonder if parents have let them take the day off for this."

To claim the offer this year, shoppers must be a Build-a-Bear Bonus Club member which you can join  here.

This offer is available in all U.K. Build-A-Bear Workshop stores and outlets.
