Rapper Bugzy Malone said he did 'no more than the minimum necessary to defend himself' after being found not guilty of attacking two men near his home.
The grime star, whose real name is Aaron Davies, had been accused of two offences of inflicting grievous bodily harm after the men suffered broken jaws.
But Mr Davies, 30, maintained he was acting in self defence when he punched them, after being alerted by 'distraught' family members that strangers had intruded on his home.

"Bugzy would like to thank his family, friends, and everyone who has supported him in resisting these charges," his lawyer Lachlan Nisbet said in a statement read on his behalf outside Manchester Crown Court.
"From difficult beginnings, Bugzy has worked hard to make a success of himself.
"Like anyone else, he has the right to protect himself, his home and his family from strangers intruding on his property.
"In this instance, faced with distraught family members, Bugzy did no more than the minimum necessary to defend himself and to secure the safety of his family and home.
"Bugzy is grateful to the judge and all the jury members who took the time to consider properly all of the facts, and to reach a considered verdict on the evidence.
"Bugzy has worked hard to make sure these charges have not diverted him from his work and career.
"Now the trial is over, Bugzy is looking forward to his UK tour being his core focus."
The prosecution had alleged that Mr Davies acted in 'retribution' and was meting out 'summary justice'.
But he maintained he had acted reasonably to defend himself and his family.
Jurors heard that some teenage fans of the musician had turned up at his home in Ramsbottom, Bury, in September 2018.
A girl who had been with the group called her father, saying she was 'terrified' after a car which she believed was being driven by Mr Davies sped towards them before he left.
The dad arrived with a friend later.
The father of a boy who had peered over a fence and shouted the rapper's name also called his father.
He was 'erratic and aggressive' after being told that his son had been 'threatened'.
The man started throwing stones and a brick at the house, and was later prosecuted and convicted of criminal damage.
He broke through electric gates at the house.
Mr Davies' mother called 999, while his 'hysterical' girlfriend called him saying three men were 'smashing up the house'.
After arriving back in Ramsbottom Mr Davies punched the father of the girl and the friend.
He said one man had ‘lunged’ at him, while another made a ‘sharp movement’ in his direction with a clenched fist.
In a statement he later gave to police, Mr Davies said he had no idea who the men were or what they wanted.
"For all I knew, it could have been a robbery or worse," he said.
