Bugzy Malone has been at the centre of his fellow rapper friends thoughts today after he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on Wednesday night.
Horror CCTV footage captured the moment the rapper, real name Aaron Davies, was thrown into the air before he was left lying bloodied among debris in the middle of the road.
The 29-year-old had been driving a trike-style motorbike in Bury, Greater Manchester when an Audi pulled out of a T-junction, giving him no time to react as he smashed into the driver’s side of the car.
Prayers have flooded social media from fellow famous pals after Bugzy was pictured left in a pool of blood with his orange jacket torn up after the crash.
BRIT award winner Dave took to his Instagram to share a picture of his friend, leading prayer for him. He wrote: “Praying you’re okay and for a speedy recovery bro.”
Krept, one half of rap giant duo Krept & Konan also posted his well wishes to the talented Manchester-born star.
“Speedy recovery broski,” he wrote, with a praying hands emoji and a love heart.
Number-one achieving rapper Fredo prayed for his friend, saying “Get well soon bro” with a fingers crossed emoji.
Ghetts tweeted: “Prayers up for the boy bugzy,” with a love heart and praying hands emoji.
Rapper Chip said: "Prayers out to @TheBugzyMalone from the most sincere place in my heart and soul. Hope he pulls through,” while Lethal Bizzle said: “Hope Bugzy is ok” with praying hands emoji.
Wretch32 wrote: “Thoughts and prayers with the kid,” as DJ Semtex told his followers: "Praying for Bugzy Malone and his family. He’s a warrior, absolute Spartan, if anyone can recover from this @TheBugzyMalone can."
Greater Manchester Police confirmed details of the crash in a statement.
It read: "Shortly before 9.20pm last night (Wednesday 25 March 2020), police were called to Rochdale Road, Bury to reports of a collision involving an Audi car and a quadbike.
"Emergency services attended and the driver of the quadbike – a 29-year-old man – was seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
"His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with information should contact 101, quoting incident number 2677 of 25/03/20. Reports can also be made anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
The crash has come just months after the grime star proposed to his girlfriend before Christmas, after keeping her out of the public eye for the past nine years.
He popped the question during a romantic trip to Paris, getting down on one knee while the pair were jetting down the Seine on a private boat.
Sharing the moment he proposed to his beautiful partner on Instagram, Bugzy wrote: "Because if you love her and she's a real one bend the f**king knee! Not much scares me but after 9 years its time and I swear I was shook she said yes.. Paris its been a pleasure..."
