Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley reveals he played through broken fibula

The #BillsMafia loves its team. And wide receiver Cole Beasley will have a special place with the Buffalo fans forever after what he revealed Monday.

The day after the team was ousted by the Kansas City Chiefs, Beasley said he has been playing with a broken fibula through the playoffs.

“I broke my fibula but it’s nothing that needs to be surgically repaired,” Beasley said. “It’s not a full break. It was bad the first game I played, but after that, you just kind of take a few meds and suck it up.”

That is incredibly tough stuff.

“It was bad the first game [vs Colts] I played but after that, you take a few meds and suck it up,” Beasley said.

Beasley had 14 catches for 145 yards in the playoffs for Buffalo.

“I just realized there’s not many opportunities that you get on a team like this that’s special and has this chance. You try to find a way to push through it and be the best you can for your teammates,” Beasley said. “You’ve gotta be careful so you don’t hurt the team as well. I knew what I could do, within myself, I believed I could still play through whatever. Everybody’s playing injured, you just gotta push through it.

“Take a few meds & suck it up,” Beasley understated.
