Buffalo 8 acquires worldwide distribution rights to 'Dig Me No Grave'.

Buffalo 8, a film and media company, recently made an exciting announcement at the Berlin European Film Market (EFM). They have acquired the worldwide distribution rights to 'Dig Me No Grave' from Silent D Pictures, a prolific U.K.-based outfit led by Djonny Chen. This thrilling film follows the gripping journey of an aging hunter as he embarks on his final quest to capture an elusive elk. However, his seemingly routine expedition takes a nightmarish turn when he finds himself trapped under the immense weight of a bear. What follows are days of desperate survival until a mysterious stranger comes to his rescue, igniting a series of intense events in the unforgiving wilderness.

The cast of 'Dig Me No Grave' boasts impressive talent, including Warren Lee Hicks from 'Renegades,' James Bryhan from 'Shadow and Bone,' and Mark Strange from 'B.R.I.' The film is skillfully directed by Ranjeet S. Marwa, known for his work on 'Spring Lakes,' and written by Gary A. Piazza. Silent D Pictures collaborates with Marwa's Rocket Sky High Motion Pictures in the production, and the film is executive produced by Matthew Helderman from 'Clerks III' and Luke Taylor from 'Dual.'

Another intriguing project making waves at the EFM is the psychological thriller 'Daemon Mind,' which is being represented by Austrian international distribution company Fizz-e-Motion and Warsaw and Los Angeles based distributor Sonovision. The film stars Acha Septriasa, a talented actor from Indonesia known for 'Anwar: The Untold Story.' In 'Daemon Mind,' Septriasa portrays a brilliant but deeply traumatized neurotheologist who dedicates her life to studying human consciousness after her brother's mysterious death. Through experimenting with mental frequencies, she unleashes her Daemon, or inner voice, which becomes her guide and advisor but ultimately accuses her as she embarks on a vengeful murder spree.

The concept of 'Daemon Mind' draws inspiration from the Persinger Device, also known as the 'God Helmet,' a scientific invention designed to induce spiritual experiences in test subjects. Written and directed by Jason Fité, known for 'Strangers and Neighbours,' the film was made with the support of the BFI's Film Fund. It was filmed across various locations in London and is scheduled for international theatrical distribution later this year. The film's ensemble cast includes Jasmine Blackborow from 'Shadow and Bone,' Sam Marks from 'Doctor Who,' Zephryn Taitte from 'Call the Midwife,' and Aden Gillett from 'The Crown.'

Handling the publicity for both 'Dig Me No Grave' and 'Daemon Mind' is Philippe Ashfield from Instant Entertainment, ensuring these captivating films receive the attention they deserve.

Silent D Pictures, the company behind the distribution and production of these films, is not stopping there. They are currently working on other exciting projects, including 'High Wire,' which features emerging star Isabella Wei from Hong Kong, and 'Influenced!,' a black comedy set in the world of social media influencers. The latter is inspired by Oscar Wilde's classic 1891 novel 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' and features the talented Evanna Lynch, known for her role in the Harry Potter series.

With their recent acquisitions and impressive ongoing projects, it's clear that Buffalo 8 and Silent D Pictures are making their mark in the world of film and media. Keep an eye out for 'Dig Me No Grave' and 'Daemon Mind,' as well as the upcoming releases from Silent D Pictures, as they continue to deliver unique and captivating storytelling to audiences worldwide.
