What do legendary Glasgow born STV News presenter John MacKay and Spanish football have in common?
Absolutely nothing whatsoever.
That was until earlier this evening, when the lineup announcement prior to Spain's U-21 football team's European Championship final against Germany was revealed.
Probably the last thing on earth you'd expect an image of the presenter John Mackay to pop into your head.
But for those who have witnessed the 33 second clip detailing the starting 11 released on Twitter by the Spanish Football Federation, they couldn't help but picture him.
Speaking of McKay, last year we came up with our own list of things that would be different if Glaswegians ran the UK.
And alongside McKay chairing the nightly national broadcast, we could picture Eastenders set in Garthamlock and the Krankies presenting This Morning.
And for the record, it looks like Spain have shaken off their defeat to Germany in 2017's final, as they are currently 2-0 up in tonight's final in Udine in Italy with minutes to go.
