Budget 2018 UK LIVE: Predictions, time and key points as Philip Hammond to deliver final Budget before Brexit

Philip Hammond is set to present his vital final Budget before Brexit later today at 3.30pm.

All eyes will be on the Chancellor's pledges following Theresa May's party conference promise that "austerity is over".

Mr Hammond is expected to announce £29 billion of funding for road building, and £2 billion for mental health services.

But this could be immaterial in the event of a "no-deal" Brexit, with Mr Hammond admitting he would have to tear up his plans in order to prepare an emergency budget.
