Outlander hit screens in 2014 and viewers have never looked back, after falling head over heels for the dramatic love story (and Sam Heughan) - and now you could be part of the production.
For those who aren't familiar, Outlander is a fantasy drama set in 17th-century Scotland based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon, which follows the passionate, time-hopping romance between Claire and Jamie.
With filming for season six about to get underway, the producers have announced an exciting trainee programme that allows people to get behind the scenes gaining industry experience.
The traineeships will kick off as early as March this year and there are a number of roles on offer, including:
- Production Design
- Production Design
- Costume
- Plastering
- Painting
Deadline to apply for these positions ends at 5pm on Friday (14 February 2020).
They are also on currently on the hunt for a a production assistant, the deadline to apply for this is 5pm Friday 28 February 2020, and a locations trainee, the deadline to apply for this is 5pm Friday 13 March 2020.
Organisers say that they are also hoping to add further roles which will be vital once filming actually starts, including an assistant director, a sound person and a camera person.
All trainees will attend an induction course and a shadowing scheme, where they get a chance to experience other departments.
They will also be paid salaries of between £370.60 and £501.40 per week, plus holiday entitlement, working 42.5 to 57.5 hours per week - depending on role and experience.
