Bucs WR DeSean Jackson says he wouldn't mind playing for Rams

TAMPA, Fla. ? DeSean Jackson has made no secret of the fact that he wants out of Tampa Bay. He asked to be traded last October and has shown little confidence in ever connecting with quarterback Jameis Winston.

There has been a report that new coach Bruce Arians would like to "re-recruit" Jackson to the Bucs. But he's under contract for $10 million that is not guaranteed in 2019, meaning he can't play anywhere else unless the team trades or releases him.

Appearing on the Simms & Lefkoe show at the Super Bowl in Atlanta, Jackson said if things didn't work out with the Bucs, he wouldn't mind playing for the Los Angeles Rams.

"Worst-case scenario, if anything, I would like to end up in LA being a Ram," Jackson said. "Sean McVay, you know we've got some connections from when I was in D.C. But we'll see how it plays out. I've got another year in Tampa. We'll see how it plays out."

McVay was the Washington offensive coordinator during two of the seasons Jackson was there.

Jackson, 32, had 41 catches for 774 yards and four touchdowns last season. He missed three of the final four games with thumb and Achilles injuries.
