Bucs lose another receiver as Adam Humphries agrees to contract with the Titans

TAMPA, Fla. _ Adam Humphries will soon be able to answer the question of which quarterback is better: Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota?

Humphries, an unrestricted free agent, agreed to a four-year, $36-million contract with the Titans on Monday, according to NFL Network.

Signed in a rookie tryout camp by the Bucs in 2015, Humphries rolled the dice and did not agree to a contract extension prior to last season, opting to become a free agent. Although he began the year as the Bucs' No. 4 receiver, he set career-highs with 76 receptions and five touchdowns.

Humphries will be reunited with Titans general manager Jon Robinson, who was the Bucs' director of player personnel when Humphries was discovered as an undrafted free agent from Clemson.

Humphries will now catch passes from Mariota, who was taken No. 2 overall in the 2015 draft behind Winston.

With DeSean Jackson being traded to Philadelphia, the Bucs lost 117 receptions for 1,590 yards and nine touchdowns from the offense.
