Bucs final injury report: Tampa Bay will be down 2 defensive starters vs. Cardinals

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wrapped up their week of practice and released their final injury report of the week. Already with a defense that has allowed the second-most points per game in the league, they will take on the Arizona Cardinals missing a pair of defensive starters.

Three players were ruled out for the Bucs, all on defense.

Ruled out

  • CB Carlton Davis (hip)
  • LB Carl Nassib (groin)
  • LB Anthony Nelson (hamstring)

Davis missed the final two days of practice after being limited on Wednesday. Sean Murphy-Bunting is expected to replace him in the lineup at cornerback and Jamel Dean will get playing time as well.

Nassib and Nelson missed all week of practice. Jason Pierre-Paul will probably slide into the lineup at outside linebacker opposite Shaq Barrett.

That was the extent of the players with a game status. The rest of the roster will be available to play, including starting offensive linemen Ali Marpet and Demar Dotson, both of whom were limited earlier in the week. Both are good to go.
