TAMPA, Fla. — One of the Bucs' shortest road trips of the year keeps getting longer.
The team's Delta charter flight Saturday from Tampa to Charlotte, N.C., to play the Panthers has been delayed more than six hours due to a mechanical issue.
The team has been forced to hold its pre-game meal at Tampa International Airport.
The Bucs are not scheduled to arrive in Charlotte before 11-11:30 p.m. Saturday. The Bucs play a 1 p.m. game Sunday at Bank of America Stadium.
They initially were scheduled to arrive in Charlotte before 5 p.m. Saturday.
