The Boston Celtics play their first game of the post-Daniel Theis era this Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks in the second half of an away-and-away series with the Bucks, the first having taken place with Wednesday’s 121 – 119 loss.
It will likely be too early for the team’s newest members to join them on the court, so expect some unusual lineups and perhaps another loss as a result. The East’s second-place Bucks have won eight in a row in what is now the NBA’s longest winning streak, and will be a formidable foe no matter which current Celtics are able to suit up.
Boston simply hopes to catch Milwaukee snoozing and get back into the win column.
