Bucks Herald campaigns on health services crisis

The Bucks Herald has launched a campaign after discovering that when the new Buckinghamshire Primary Care Trust comes into existence in October it will be saddled with an £18m deficit. The paper's "Dear Patricia" campaign is aimed at winning guarantees from health secretary Patricia Hewitt about adequate funding for the area's health services. Within five days of launch nearly 100 readers had signed up to support the campaign for proper health service funding in the Vale of Aylesbury. (Via Bucks Herald )
