In a development that no one (except bucketloads of horny fans) asked for, Sydney Sweeney has made the genius decision to infuse her new product with her very own bathwater.
That’s right, the actress-turned-hygiene enthusiast revealed on Thursday that her new men’s soap bar, made in collaboration with Dr. Squatch, will include traces of her bathwater, which would probably taste fantastic were it not for many sanitary concerns.
“We created a limited-edition soap infused with [Sweeney’s] ACTUAL bathwater,” Dr. Squatch wrote when announcing the aptly-named ‘Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss’ soap bar on Instagram.

“Why? Because y’all wouldn’t stop asking,” the brand added, “and Sydney said ‘let’s do it’.”
The soap itself is a medium-grit exfoliator, with the scent — not-so-subtly dubbed ‘Morning Wood’ — made of sand, pine bark extract and bathwater, which was extracted from the tub Sweeney bathed in while shooting the promotional pics for the product.
Confirming the bathwater’s legitimacy in a press statement (per 9Honey), Sweeney said Dr. Squatch “had a tub for me [and] I actually got in, took some soap, had a nice little bath, and they collected the water”.
“So yes, it’s my real bathwater.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with GQ, the Euphoria star said “fans always joke about wanting my bathwater,” adding that the Dr. Squatch collab was “a cool way to… give them what they want”.
For those already racing to their tubs, don’t get your sweet-smelling panties in a twist just yet.
‘Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss’ hasn’t yet been released, and will only be available in a very limited stock when it does eventually arrive on Dr. Squatch early next month.
In proof that parasocial relationships have perhaps gone too far, it’s somehow not the first time a celebrity’s bathwater has been coveted by fans.

In 2019, YouTuber Belle Delphine popularised the selling of her bathwater and more recently, Sweeney’s Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi had his infamous bathtub scene in Saltburn memorialised in a fan-made candle, which the actor himself even gave a whiff.
Later, Margot Robbie and America Ferrera were made to smell the Elordi-inspired bath candle on a red carpet, which, for the record, is the last thing Barbie would’ve wanted.
This Barbie monetises her bath time routine! I guess?
