A cake specialist has the perfect tonic for this holiday weekend.
Cakes by Rebecca, based in Blantyre Industrial Estate, have created their limited edition Buckfast cupcake.
The cakes are available this September weekend only – and are set to fly out the door.
And the cakes are so strong that they will only be available to over-18s only, and identification will be required.
Rebecca Henderson, who owns the firm, said: “We were asked by one of our customers to make some and we thought ‘why not make a batch?’
“They have been proving pretty popular on social media and, yes, they do taste very much like the drink.”
