Police have released a CCTV image of a man following an assault in Buchanan Street subway station.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Glasgow city centre after a man was attacked at the station's north entrance on the evening of Saturday, May 15.
Detectives investigating the incident have released images and issued a description of a man they wish to talk in connection with the incident and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
He is described as white, in his 30’s of slim build with short dark hair, wearing a mid-length brown camel coloured coat, white shirt and blue jeans.
A statement published by British Transport Police this afternoon advised: "Detectives have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their ongoing enquiries into an incident.
"It occurred on Saturday 15 May 2021 at around 8.30pm, after a man was assaulted at Buchanan Street Underground Station North entrance.
"The man is described as white, in his 30’s of slim build with short dark hair, wearing a mid-length brown camel coloured coat, white shirt and blue jeans.
"At the time of the incident the city centre and station were extremely busy. Officers appeal to the man, anyone who recognises the man, or anyone who has any information in relation to the incident to come forward.
