Buccaneers’ Devin White among four out vs. Giants

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had an extensive injury report this week, listing as many as 11 players at any given time, including some of their superstars, such as quarterback Jameis Winston (foot) and rookie linebacker Devin White (knee).

The good news for Tampa Bay? Winston will play. The bad news? White will not.

White was among four Buccaneers ruled out against the Giants in Week 3, joining linebacker Devante Bond (hamstring), cornerback Jamel Dean (ankle) and quarterback Blaine Gabbert (shoulder).

With White sitting this one out, inside linebacker Kevin Minter is likely to step up and take over as the starter. Meanwhile, Ryan Griffin will serve as Winston’s primary backup and M.J. Stewart expected to see more snaps in place of Dean.

Defensive lineman Beau Allen, linebacker Carl Nassib and wide receiver Breshad Perriman, who were all limited in practice at one point this week, have been removed from the injury report and are expected to play against the Giants on Sunday.
