A 'bubbly' man from Liverpool was found dead by his father the day before his 33rd birthday, an inquest heard.
Anthony James Ventre was discovered at a North Wales holiday park on October 1 after sending 'concerning messages'.
The joiner of Dee Close, Kirkby had been staying alone in a caravan at Lyon’s Robin Hood Holiday Park in Rhyl.
He'd sent his former girlfriend messages of concern at 8 am that day who contacted his father, also called Anthony Ventre, to tell him about the messages.
Concerned for his welfare, Mr Ventre senior drove to the caravan site where he tragically found his son’s body, reports North Wales Live.
Despite attempts to save him, Mr Ventre was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics shortly after 1pm.
His father, who described his son as a “bubbly character” with a “good sense of humour” told the inquest in the weeks before his death, the 32-year-old had been stressed and unhappy.

He said he had recently broken up with his girlfriend, and had been stopped from seeing his 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, following an argument with her mother around a month earlier.
Mr Ventre said his son had made no suggestion that he had intended to harm himself.
However, the inquest held into his death at Ruthin County Hall, heard toxicology tests following a postmortem by Dr Mark Atkinson found evidence of significant cocaine use.
Coroner for North Wales east and central, John Gittins heard explained those levels could be measured as being “significantly higher” than the legal drug drive limit.
The coroner added the level of cocaine was “likely to have had some impact" on Mr Ventre, who was also found to have a high dose of a prescription painkiller in his system.

Recording a cause of death as hanging, Mr Gittins said: “I am satisfied that on the balance of probabilities, it was his intention to end his life by his actions at that time.
“The only appropriate conclusion I can reach is one of a suicide.”
Extending his condolences to the family, Mr Gittins, added: “I’m sure you miss him hugely.”
