Bubba Watson new favourite to join Saudi League as Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry lag behind

Bubba Watson is the new favourite to join the Saudi Golf League as more and more players have pledged to LIV Golf.

The first event gets underway today in London with a number of top golfers such as Dustin Johnson and Graeme McDowell taking part as well as Phil Mickelson.

And as the new league picks up stream, the likes of Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed are the latest golfers to commit to the tour.

And more names are expected to join going forward and Paddy Power have released odds on who could be next to join the LIV Golf Series.

Former US Open Champion Justin Rose and Bubba Watson are listed as favourites to join the new tour and are listed at 8/15.

Brooks Koepka has been listed as 11/8 to join the tour while Matthew Fitzpatrick is 6/4 to join.

Shane Lowry has competed in Saudi Arabia in the past but bookmakers do not believe he will leave the PGA Tour to join for the Saudi backed league.

The Offaly man is priced at 100/1 to join while Rory McIlroy is 250/1.

Tiger Woods turned down a sum of nine figures to join to league and is the biggest outsider at 1000/1.
