Dec. 11--Two-time Masters Tournament champion Bubba Watson has teed up his lakefront home in Windermere, Fla., for sale at $5.6 million.
Watson bought the house, formerly owned by Tiger Woods, in 2013 for an undisclosed sum and commissioned a complete remodel of the more than half-acre property during his ownership.
The two-story home, built in 1994, is entered through a foyer that opens to a double-height living room underscored by walls of picture windows. About 8,000 square feet of living space, with marble and wood floors and paneled ceilings, include a center island kitchen, a formal dining room, an office and a family room.
Among amenities are a game/media room and a home theater with tiered seating. The master suite has a sitting room, a walk-in closet and a soaking tub for a total of seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Sliding glass doors off the main level open to a screened patio with an outdoor dining area and a built-in barbecue and wet bar. A swimming pool with a raised spa and private dockage complete the setting.
Monica Lochmandy of Isleworth Realty Inc. is the listing agent.
Since turning pro in 2003, Watson, 37, has 11 wins on the PGA Tour, including Masters Tournament victories in 2012 and 2014. He has earned more than $33.7 million on tour for his career.
