BTS make Grammys performing debut during Lil Nas X's Old Town Road mash-up medley

BTS delighted fans with their much-hyped Grammys performing debut on Sunday (January 27) night.

The K-Pop band joined Lil Nas X on stage for an extra special performance of Old Town Road.

The hit track has spawned countless remixes and to celebrate its success, the rapper and singer was joined on stage by various stars who have contributed to some of them.

Lil Nas X began the “all-stars” performance on stage alone, in a living room set with a Kobe Bryant basketball shirt laid out on a chair.

The set - one of the most elaborate of the night - then began rotating and Lil Nas moved from room to room, delighting fans when he greeted BTS against a futuristic skyline backdrop.

Billy Ray Cyrus also popped up, along with Mason Ramsey, the young yodeller who found fame in a viral video last year.

At the end, Diplo shouted: “Kobe, we love you.”

Tributes to the basketball star dominated the ceremony, following his death in a helicopter crash just hours before.

Host Alicia Keys opened the show with by sharing her condolences and acknowledging the fact the ceremony was taking place in the Staples Centre, where Bryant played many games for the LA Lakers.

His 13-year-old daughter, Gianni, and seven other people also died in the crash in the Calabasas hills.
