BTS fans sent into meltdown over Halsey collaboration teaser: ‘I need to remember to breathe!’

BTS fans were left stunned after the K-pop group dropped a teaser of their new collaboration with Halsey.

The track, titled Boy With Luv, is expected to feature on the group’s new album Map Of The Soul: Persona.

Teasing the song, which is set for release on Friday, the group shared a 46-second clip from the upcoming music video.

The clip sees the American singer sporting bright orange hair whilst pulling the shutters down at a ticket booth after finishing her shift at the Persona cinema.

As she strolls away from the venue she stops to acknowledge the seven-piece boy band who are sat outside in bold hot-pink outfits.

Who are BTS?

The video then cuts to a clip of the band stood under a light-up sign of the word “love”, with their backs turned away from the camera while a very brief snippet of the song plays in the background.

Fans of the group were sent in a frenzy over the teaser, with some already theorising concepts for the video.

One user wrote: “I need to remember to BREATHE! So excited! This is a great month already.”

“#BTSxHalsey this is for sure gonna be a great song [sic],” said another.

A third added: “We really don’t deserve them... we just asked for the track list but they gave us the teaser. I'm not crying ... you are!!”

BTS’ new album marks the band’s first record following the conclusion of their three-year Love Yourself trilogy, after the final part Love Yourself: Answer was released in August.

The group are set to headline two sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium in June.
