BTS 'Butter' Feat. Megan Thee Stallion is here and it's smooth like 'coco butter' - WATCH

K-Pop superstars BTS teamed up with Grammy-award winner Megan Thee Stallion to give ARMY the best remix yet of their summer smash-hit 'Butter'.

Taking to her social media handle, the ecstatic rapper tweeted, "OUT NOWWWWWW!"

The song perfectly blends the inimitable rap, signature sounds and ad-libbing of three-time Grammy Award-winner with the exceptional and colourful personality BTS showcased in the original song. Megan introduces the remix by saying, "It's the Hot Girl Coach and BTS."

The track features a new rap verse by Megan that is devoid of any explicit lyrics, that the rapper is known for. She also joins RM and SUGA to rap a few lines of their verse in the song.

BTS has already released three remixes of the song over the past months. These include - Hotter, Cooler and Sweeter versions of the hit track.

Ahead of the release of the song, Megan took to Twitter to say, "I’m so ready only a few more hourssss."

The singer also teased fans with photos of herself rocking bright green shades as she captioned the click as "Smooth as coco butter."

News of the song release dropped on Tuesday, hours after the court granted Megan permission to release her remix. According to legal documents, Stallion submitted a petition against her record label 1501 Certified Entertainment and its CEO Carl Crawford, alleging that they are preventing her from releasing the song.

The singer sought “emergency relief from the Court before this Friday, August 27, 2021, to allow her new music to be released this week as previously scheduled.”

Stallion also argued that obstructing the release of the song will cause “irreparable damage” to her career.

Following the judgement, BTS' record label BigHit Music made the official announcement on their handle in a post that read, "BTS Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion) 2021.08.27, 12AM (ET)."

An ecstatic Megan also took to her social media platforms to spread the word about her collaboration and said, "Y’all don’t even understand how excited I am."
