BT Sports Lynsey Hipgrave's love for Newcastle United is no secret - just one look at her social media and you can see that the broadcaster is a huge Toon fan.
With Rafa Benitez's contract running out on June 30, Lynsey, like every other Magpie fan, is nervous about what the future holds for the club .
Talks are ongoing between Benitez and the club's hierarchy and, even though both parties want a new deal to be signed, it is far from guaranteed that an agreement will happen.
Benitez is keen to ensure he has guarantees on transfer policy, and that Ashley wants to see the club do more than just beat the drop to Championship.
Speaking ahead of United's 1-1 draw with Brighton, Hipgrave made her feelings about the importance of keeping Benitez at United.
"It all depends on whether Rafa signs a new contract and is given a reasonable amount of money to improve the squad," she replied when asked where the club can go next season.
"We need more quality, more depth and he needs to be backed and left to get on with the brilliant job he's been doing.
"It's almost impossible to compete with the big six now but it would be nice to keep out of the relegation picture and at a least be competing for the Europa League place.
"The club has so much potential, it has an immense fanbase and a world class manager.
"I just hope they're not stupid enough to lose him."
