BT Sport has fought off competition from Sky Sports and ITV to retain the live rights for the Champions League.
The broadcaster has secured a three-year deal worth £1.2billion to continue to show European games until 2024.
ITV had hoped to bring live Champions League games back to terrestrial television, while Amazon were also interested after winning Premier League rights, but BT has struck a deal with Uefa to continue to show the Champions League and Europa League in Britain.
The Champions League has been shown on subscription television since BT took over the rights in 2015, although they have made the final available for free.
ITV explored regaining the rights to bring European football back to free-to-air television but BT, whose coverage is fronted by Gary Lineker, beat off competition from its rivals.
BT had come under some pressure to spend heavily to keep live Champions League rights after it won less attractive Premier League packages for the 2019-2022 seasons.
Tottenham and Liverpool contested an all-English Champions League Final last season. The 2023 final will be staged at Wembley.
